The venue was a former airship hanger. It was a blank white space that felt both airy with all the natural light, but also rugged with industrial feel of the brick walls and concrete floors. Deciding on a decor style was a challenge, as my personal taste often swings between two extremes—classy and feminine or modern and edgy. So, I thought, why not embrace both?
I set out to create a juxtaposition that mirrored both the venue's contrasts and my own personal style. My inspiration was a floral Rorschach test with inspiration from Alexander McQueen. I had a lot going on in my head LOL!
